| Business Process Manager |
Business Process Manager helps you to shorten process lifecycles and automatically manage process exceptions so that you can react immediately to internal events or customer demands. While powerful, it is also easy to use and administer. Claims analysts can modify processes and apply new business rules immediately. Best practices and business logic can be captured and reused thereby shortening implementation time and increasing your speed-to-market so you can seize new business opportunities.
Business process (BP) is a collection of events performed while processing a claim. The BP is modeled to initiate the Process .We can define multiple events in BP which have multiple actions. If a response is required in a particular process, then we can define the type of response and the rule or event to be executed on the success/failure of the response. |
 |
| Example |
You can initiate BP for a particular claim, say if we have Chaser Letter BP, and if we initiate the same, then whole events and actions designed in that BP executes. If you wish to define some time limit for the response the scheduler waits up to that time limit, after which rule/event defined on response success/failure executes. |
| Broadly, Business Process can be summed up in two steps: |
 |
Defining BPs to automate processes. |
 |
Implementing the same at operational level. |
