| The Requirements |
To web enable the Contracting and Credentialing Process including database migration from the current DB2 hosted on AS400 to MS SQL Server. To make a user friendly system for the users across the globe and include all the functionality of the previous system. The new system should be intuitive for everybody to understand and should require less of training. |

| The Challenge |

The client already had in place a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution that combined the efforts over the years plus acceptance of the new system with all the requirements and specifications in place.

To upgrade its existent CRM system to make it more comprehensive, and to optimize its benefits. There was a clear need to enable employees to access information with security in accordance to the administrator. This involved an upgrade from the existent two-tier architecture to a web-enabled architecture.

The task was to be completed in a specific time and the overall data of the client to be ported to the SQL Server database by scripts so that no data loss occurs in transit. . |
|
The web application had to manage large data where the users also required some amount of training with the new interface. |
|
The CRM had to send automatic mails to the clients and providers with data as attached PDF. |
|
Credentialing involved all verifications of new hires and re-verifications periodically. All the credentials to be maintained as hardcopies and the paperwork to be completed and send to providers. |

| The Solution |
To maintain the information regarding the contracts and the customers. Customers may have one or more sites at different geographical locations. Sites may have one or more departments. Departments are associated with profit center through a contract between legal entities and profit centers. People are associated with customers at different levels such as: customer level, site level, contract level etc. To manage a comprehensive database about the Providers and their information. Credential each provider by the details filled in through PDF forms generated and filled by the CRM. |
